メリークリスマス

Yay for presents!

As usual the Christmas spread, guests, presents. Played a fair bit of multiplayer on DS with my cousin, tried couple of games which I got but yet to play.

The new laptop bag Mom gave came in unexpectedly right - just when my old one had it's shoulder strap half torn.

3 more days till school starts and assignment completion is still half-way there. I miss the studio, the people, the LAN gaming.

Checked the 'Black Market' today, not too surprised at the current pricing.

There was a $350 and a $299 on the 2nd floor, $390 on the 3rd floor, $399 and $410 on the 5th floor.

Pay another 100 bucks more and I can get a Wii.

And the prices mentioned have no 7% GST factored in.

I'll have to save big time... aiming to get it by June 2009. By then, the European version should be out. I'll see though, since its all region-locked and stuff.

I can't believe I got my hands on a ('ahem') working copy, wOOt! (thanks, Bernie) Time to spread some zombie cheer tis' season.

What A Week...

Glad to have last week flown by, I could've lost sanity if the turn of events continued. It SO HAPPENED that everything started failing:

1. HP Pavillion and Adobe CS3

2. Transferring 250+ GB of data between Portable and Holy Terrabyte

3. Linksys flop, adapter died

4. Holy Terrabyte won't accept GRID, Vegas 2, COD: World at War

5. Notebook self-support centre sucks so much that one laptop format isn't enough (I wonder how the heck do they maintain their hard disk images)

6. Because of the above 5, my first week plans went to the bin

I can't decide whether to laugh or cry at how nice the turn of events fit into place, just nice.

On a brighter note, I could catch up with Shana-chan. Yeah... and that overrides 50% of the above-mentioned agony.

I hope today's reformat would be the last until next year.
